Eye Doctor’s Dual Eye Patch effectively closes the horse’s eyes for maximum pain relief while allowing for constant monitoring of the injury or problem. Eye Doctor enables the eyes the most complete rest possible, eliminating the need for surgical closure.
It is the only proven and widely used product to prevent the horse from rubbing its eyes against the walls and fences due to excessive itching from an injury.
It is designed to help the horse keep its eyes closed without painful stitching.
The mask fits the horse perfectly and is highly protective of injured eyes, yet comfortable.

To replace a wet eye patch, unfold and refold a gauze pad to make a 4 × 4-inch square. (See patch already in place.)
Lay patch over ring of snap inside hood.
Use a clean cloth snap-on ring to fix patch in position, snapping through the gauze.
IMPORTANT – Be sure to allow ample looseness to accommodate this; tap the centre of the gauze pad gently before fastening the snaps.
Affix a dry tear pad with Velcro tabs.
The Velcro straps at the top of the hood may be used to fix the hood to the halter.
Keep the horse clean and dry under the hood. Daily grooming of the head is essential.
