Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) Lateral Suture System developed for reliable stabilisation in the treatment of CCL rupture. This widely used technique delivers a relatively quick procedure with outcomes comparable to alternative methods, offering strong immediate post-operative support while minimising risk to intra-articular structures.
The system uses heavy monofilament nylon placed laterally to stabilise the stifle. A metal crimp tube replaces the need for large knots, enabling controlled tensioning and secure fixation using crimping forceps. The suture is positioned behind the lateral fabella and passed through the tibial tubercle to achieve optimal stability.
The cruciate suture needle is specifically designed for lateral suture repair, featuring a specialised curve and reinforced body to allow easier passage around the femur and fabella region.
Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel for durability, strength, and consistent surgical performance.
