X-Rite Marking Tape

Using a ball point pen, simply print the patient's name on the marking tape, remove the paper backing then place the tape on your personalized holder blocker (showing your name, the clinic name, location or phone number) and attach it to the x-ray cassette.

X-Ray Xrite Holder Blockers

Each holder blocker can be customized with the veterinarian's name or the the clinic name as well as the clinic's location or phone number. When an exposure is made with the holder blocker in place this customized information is automatically recorded on the film. Limit is 26 characters on both top and bottom lines.

Holder blockers come in white, green, red and yellow. The colour, which indicates the density needed, is determined by the kVp and MAS exposure settings. To select the appropriate holder blocker required refer to the chart below.
