Shor-Line Polypropylene Cages
An Alternative Solution to Animal Holding
Precision engineered to meet your requests for an alternative approach to animal cages. Using technically advanced materials for durability and sanitation, the corrosion-resistant Shor-Line plastic cages are the perfect alternative for your animal holding areas. These cages are ideal for animal holding after bathing or grooming, or to add to your existing holding cage system.
Sizes: Our new plastic cages are available in two styles; as a standard cage and a standard cage with raised floor and removable collection pan (Quick Clean). Also offered are two cages sizes: The medium model is 24-1/4" w x 28-5/16" h x 28-3/8" d (61.60 cm x 71.76 cm x 72.39 cm), and the large model measuring 48-1/2" w x 34-1/2" h x 28-3/8" d (123.19 cm x 87.63 cm x 127 cm). Both sizes are tapered front to back.
Shell: The one-piece cage shell is constructed of tough, chlorine-resistant polyethylene plastic using a rotationally molded process that eliminates stress points at seams and adds overall uniformity and rigidity to the unit. This plastic material also resists stains, daily exposure to disinfectants, and makes clean up a snap. A urine-retaining lip is part of the design to catch spills.
Doors: The sturdy metal doors are chrome plated/cold roll steel. (Optional stainless steel doors are available.) Outside door frames are 3/8" (1.27 cm) diameter with 1/4" (.64 cm) diameter horizontal bars and 3/16" (.38 cm) diameter vertical bars. Latches, hinges and other hardware are 14 gauge stainless steel for long life and smooth operation.
The medium cage door without collection pan measures 23" w x 26-1/2" h (58.42 cm x 67.31 cm) and 23" w x 23" h (58.42 cm x 58.42 cm) with removable collection pan. The large cage door without collection pan is 22-3/4" w x 31-1/2" h (57.79 cm x 80.01 cm) and 22-3/4" w x 28-1/2" h (57.79 cm x 72.69 cm) with pan, and is a 2-piece door.
Collection Pan with Floors: The "Quick Clean" Cage raised floor models feature a removable collection pan thermoformed from high impact black polystyrene. This molding process eliminates leaky seams and ensures years of use. Pan measures 20-1/2" w x 28-3/4" l x 2" h (52.07 cm x 73.03 cm x 5.08 cm). The raised floor is black powder coated steel, measuring 21" w x 28" d (53.34 cm x 71.12 cm) with a 1/2" (1.27 cm) spaced cross bar pattern.
Divider: A black powder coated divider is available for the large cage to separate into 2 smaller cages. Platform: All cage bank units mount perfectly on our black powder coated platform, available with 5" (12.7 cm) diameter casters or stationary legs.
Banks: The modular design allows custom units or our standard 3, 4 and 6-units. The 3-unit model consists of two medium cages mounted on top of one large cage. The 4 and 6 unit models are made up of medium cages only.
Color: The standard Gray Mist color is an attractive yet neutral addition to any room. Optional colors are available with a minimum quantity purchase, so call for details.
