Buster ICU Cages
The new BUSTER ICU Cages address the need for an economic and convenient way of providing oxygen therapy in small animal hospitals. The BUSTER ICU Cages have been developed and tested by vets. Dr Ian Flemming SVS, Birmingham, Quinton PDSA PetAid Hospital says: “Space is always at a premium, even in the new hospitals, and there always seems to be a shortage of space. These ICU cages are brilliant because you can set them up wherever you want, and when you have finished with them, just collapse them and store them out of the way until the next time. The sign of a good product is when the staff actually uses it. These have been well used”.

Animals in ICU cages are critical, and critical care patients need regular monitoring. It is vital to monitor the animal’s temperature regularly. One of the most common problems with ICU cages is the fact that the animals can overheat.
If overheating occurs, or is likely to occur, use the frozen/cooled gel packs to draw heat away from the animal.
